Alssundbroen
Its story
Alssundbroen takes the A8 across the sound about 2 km northwest of Sønderborg, relieving the 1930 bascule bridge King Christian X's Bro in town. Queen Ingrid opened it on 19 October 1981; state-owned, it is run by the Road Directorate.
