About the band

The genre-breaking electronic trio When Saints Go Machine, known for their magnificent live productions and intensely pulsating electronic universe. At the centre stands Nikolaj Manuel Vonsild and his very special voice, which is now getting renewed attention as he participates in the 2026 season of Toppen af Poppen in the spring.

Background

Now the volume is turned down and the presence is turned up when the trio goes on tour with a series of seated concerts in some of the country's most beautiful concert halls. With the audience seated and the room as a co-player, When Saints Go Machine opens up for a more intimate, vulnerable and listening concert form. The concerts are created for halls where acoustics and atmosphere enhance the experience, and where the music can unfold completely. Their sound universe – from both the critically acclaimed latest album Greatest Escape to their entire back catalogue – gets new life where silence makes room and the pauses matter. As Nikolaj Manuel Vonsild himself puts it: “We hold back to be able to give more.”
