About the person
Holly Bannis, daughter of Greg Bannis (former lead singer of Hot Chocolate), grew up in a musical family and honed her talent for over a decade. She was cast in the role of Tina Turner after an audition on ITV’s Starstruck and has since delivered standing ovations night after night with her powerful vocals and iconic moves.
Background
The show celebrates the music and the extraordinary career of rock’s queen, Tina Turner. It features a phenomenal live band performing classic hits like Proud Mary, River Deep – Mountain High, Simply The Best, Private Dancer and Nutbush City Limits. The performance opens with Private Dancer and includes an exhilarating second set where the audience is on their feet singing along. The organiser notes this is a tribute production not affiliated with Tina Turner Estate.
