About the band
Skullclub delivers Sønderborg’s best mix of folk, sing-along rock n’ roll, seasick punk rock and hardcore spiced with a good splash of metal. They dish out both ear-boxing and keelhauling in abundance. With their latest release “Kaptajn Overdrive” they have shown where the pirate flag should be planted. Their intense concerts at Copenhell, Smuk Fest and Jailbreak have convinced every skeptical landlubber that Danish-language pirate rock is here to stay.
Background
They perform with a huge gleam in one eye and an eye patch over the other, dishing out both ear-boxing and keelhauling in abundance. The party is guaranteed and the entertainment is at home – for there are plenty of horrors to sing about and ear-splitting choruses to howl along to when SKULLCLUB rips one sailor’s hymn after another from their tattered shirt sleeves. Pirate fences are sentenced for every gold coin in the treasure chest.
