About the lecturer

Karl Aage Kirkegaard is a theologian, author, and lecturer. He published the book *Science and Belief* in January 2026, on which this lecture is based. He will speak in conversation with librarian Claus Jacobsen.

Background

A dialogue between a physicist and a philosopher about deep questions that arise when exploring science: Where does life and the universe come from? What is the purpose behind it all? Does science point toward a creating God, or is such a thought incompatible with physics?
