Is fake news really just old wine in new bottles? And was Socrates more of a philosopher or a fuckboy? That’s what we’ll try to find out when, on the last Thursday of every month, we dive into the history of philosophy and greet the greatest philosophers.

About the lecturer

Our own librarian Claus Jacobsen, who holds a BA in philosophy, skillfully guides us through today’s topic.

Why take part?

We read a short text together and go through the most important points, questions and thoughts that arise along the way. Whether you’re completely new to the subject or on familiar terms with Descartes, you’re very welcome here—where it’s not a competition to know the longest words, but much more about being philosophically curious.
