About the lecturer

The instructor presents themselves as a participant in the learning process, not an expert. They aim to create a safe space for shared experimentation and mutual support.

Background

At this workshop you will gain practical experience in making your own beeswax cloths. We work with materials, techniques and sizes so you get cloths that fit your kitchen. Beeswax cloths can be used again and again and are a sustainable alternative to single-use plastic in everyday life. This workshop is not about the instructor being the expert. In some areas I am just as much a novice as you participants. The aim is to create a safe space where we can experiment together, share experiences and help each other take small steps towards a greener everyday life. Together we make a difference – small steps towards less plastic. We don’t need to agree on everything to work in the same direction.

Why take part?

Green transition can look different from person to person, but when many do a little, it can together make a big difference. The workshop is also an opportunity to meet others in Sønderborg who want to help create more sustainable habits in everyday life.
