Background
K.E. Løgstrup (1905–81) is Denmark’s greatest theological and philosophical thinker since Søren Kierkegaard, and in recent years his thought and writings have also spread abroad. Central to his work is the question of interpersonal life—its conditions for happiness and unhappiness, the significance of religion and art, and not least ethics.
