Iron Age activities by the Hjortspring boat replica. Open to everyone, 15 October 2026 from 10:00 to 12:00 at Hjortspringbådens Laug, Dyvigvej 11, Nordborg. Drop in for free. Bring your curiosity and warm clothes; warm soup is served.

Background

Experience the beautiful Hjortspring boat up close. Although the original from 350 BC is at the National Museum, the replica in Holm is just as impressive. It is 19 meters long and carved from wood. You will have plenty of opportunities to use your hands. For example, you can make a friendship bracelet, carve and hammer. We will also serve a cup of warm soup along the way. All activities take place on land at the Hjortspring boat guild’s workshop.
