Guided walk to listen for roaring red deer during their rutting season. 1 November 2026 from 16:00 to 19:00 in Nordals Naturskole, Holmvej 33, Sjellerupskov, Nordborg.

Background

We will hear about the biology of red deer and, hopefully, listen to the roaring of one of Denmark’s largest land mammals during rutting season. The deer are fighting for the best territories and the favour of the hinds. The walk ends with light refreshments.
