Art workshop for beginners. Open to everyone, 17 October 2026 from 10:00 to 14:00 at Foreningshuset – Sønderborg Kaserne, Gerlachsgade 5. Sign up to take part. All materials are provided; bring an apron or old clothes and your own refreshments. The course encourages work with still life and/or landscape, you'll learn chiaroscuro, techniques to express light, shadows and depths, and how to mix colors, color theory, and underpainting.

Do you have an artist inside you, but are unsure whether to choose brush or pencil? The weekend art workshop for beginners helps you find your way. At the workshop you get a fantastic chance to experience the best of two worlds. You can try both drawing and painting so you can feel what catches you most. We work with acrylic paints, pencils, coloured pencils and pastels. You will be introduced to the wonderful, creative world of art and receive tips and guidance on how to work on your pieces as you go.
