Dybbøl Mølle

Its story

Dybbøl Mølle was the centre of the fighting in the Schleswig Wars of 1848-51 and 1864, twice destroyed in battle and rebuilt; in 1864 the Danish army ran an observation post here. Milling ended in 1990, and today the landmark is a museum.

Draft from local history sources, not yet checked by an editor.
