Om foredragsholderen

Klaus Mølmer is a professor of quantum physics at the Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen. His research focuses on quantum physics and its applications in technology.

Baggrund

Both in Denmark and internationally, large sums of money have been invested since the 1990s in the race to develop and utilize quantum computers that use atomic quantum states to calculate many numbers at the same time. In the lecture, you will hear how far we have come in the construction of quantum computers and what they will be able to be used for when they are fully functional.
