Mushroom Hunting in the Forest on Als We’ll walk together through the forest, looking for this season’s mushrooms. Along the way, you’ll learn about the characteristics, habitats, and safe handling of the various mushroom species. After the walk, we’ll go over our finds, and you’ll be served samples along with a cup of hot herbal tea so you can savor nature’s gifts. Practical tips for the walk Weather-appropriate clothing: Dress appropriately and take the day’s weather into account. Basket or bag: Bring a basket or bag to collect mushrooms in. Small trays: You may want to bring some small trays or containers to separate different mushroom species. Herb knife: A sharp herb knife is necessary for removing the roots from the mushrooms. Notebook and pen: Bring a notebook and pen to jot down important information about the mushrooms. Bring a heat-resistant cup to enjoy the herbal tea served during the tour. Small groups—big experience The tour is conducted in small groups of up to 12 people, so there’s plenty of time for questions and a thorough review of all finds. NOTE: There will be a small fee of 50 DKK for tastings, to be paid directly to the instructor. It is included in the total of 305DKK as to sign up you need only 255DKK
