The Librarians is about the ones who refuse to bow down to control of knowledge by book banning, express the tensions between freedom, society control and human rights. This event is included in #ForbudteBøger campaign by Dansk pen, a literary organization that promotes books from all over the world and defends freedom of expression for writers of all kinds. On the same week, October 8 in Sonderborg will be held the lecture "Banned Books from the Enlightenment to today", only in Danish. There will be also an exhibition at the Sønderborg library from October 5 to 11.
