Baggrund
Bror Gunnar Jansson explores new musical landscapes with the project Bror Gunnar Jansson & the Escapism. The debut album People moves towards 1970s soul with inspiration from Curtis Mayfield and Otis Redding, topped with modern neo-soul. With strong vocals and deep grooves, Jansson sings about vulnerability, marginalisation and the mechanisms of power. The music effortlessly balances beauty and gravity and invites the listener right in.
