Augusta Schackinger is a 20-year-old singer and songwriter from Odense. She writes songs that go beyond life’s ups and downs, turning words into images—moods and stories that move across generations and revolve around places and experiences both inside and outside the physical world. Her music blends dreamy pop with lyrical melancholy, placing her between the real and the symbolic, where the everyday meets the poetic. Despite her young age, she has several years of experience as a songwriter and artist. She debuted in 2022 with the single “Stjerneklare Nætter,” recorded in her father’s studio, where they produced it together. The song became part of the film *Grænser* by Jonas Risvig and has since surpassed one million streams on Spotify. Since her debut, Augusta has released several strong singles and took a major step in her career in 2024 with a collaboration with Sony Music, releasing tracks like “Et Sted På Vesterbro” and “Febersol,” as well as the streaming hit “Ødelagt Byen” with artist Olivver, which topped the Spotify charts and became the most-streamed track of late summer. Currently, she is promoting the single “Anerkender Mig,” a reflective and honest story about the vulnerability that arises from longing to be seen and acknowledged.
